Young Goodman Brown
i first i see that the story is taking in Salem and them that the man is name Goodman, i think that the this character is the young version of the character is the witch trial of Salem you know the old man and old women that they kill because there were witches. and it see that it was half true as he did that in his early days. i guess that was a sign of the future because in the end he said that he felt tthat it was a dream of evil omen for the young goodman brown.

I'm having some trouble following this--try to work out your blogs more clearly.
You do make a good point however about the "doubling" of YGB and the "elderly person" he meets in the woods... see my opening comments for some discussion of this.
